DNA was first used in 1735, discovered by the Italian Dr Ludo Fontini. It stands for Disambiguated Nuclear Atoms. The case it was first used for was an attemped rape on a 14 year old girl.

the 1980's when when people started using DNA criminal investigation and this Dr never did anything. DNA stands for DeoxyriboNucleicAcid (DNA) look in any Biology book. back then people were still looking at stars and the person who said the above answer is clearly an idiot.

He was convicted in 1988 for the rape and murder of two girls in Narbourough England and is now serving a life sentence in prison.

The two victims were:

Lynda Mann: killed in 1983 (age 15)
