Why did Bluestar die?

Well, she was pulled into the river by the leader of a pack of dogs and started to drown so she died from taking in to much water and drowning. Although fireheart takes her out, she was on her way to starclan once she was on land and she spoke to stonefur, mistyfoot and fireheart before she went to hunt with starclan.

At the end of A dangerous path Bluestar dies at the end trying to throw the pack of dogs(that tigerstar sent) off of a cliff and one of the dogs grabs her and pulls her in as well.Bluestar makes peace with her kits Mistyfoot and Stonefur a couple of moments before she joins starclan.A Dangerous Path is the 5th warriors book in the original series.

Bluestar died due to old age and illness. After a long and eventful life as leader of ThunderClan, she succumbed to a combination of physical and mental health struggles, which ultimately led to her death.

She saved Fireheart from a dog, pushing it off of a river bank and into the water. The dog grabs her at the last moment and she goes down with it. Fireheart manages to save her from the water but she dies on the shore. :(

She also knew that she'd die from water: an old medicine cat told her when she was an apprentince. :)

Well in A Dangerous Path when the dogs are attacking Thunderclan camp, and the pack leader has Fireheart in his jaws Bluestar races at him, and knocks him into the gorge behind them then the dog grabs bluestar pulling her into the water too, so Fireheart goes and saves bBuestar with the help of Mistyfoot and Stonefur but it was too late.

In a dangerous path Thunderclan finds scent of dog in their territory, Bluestar however denies and says it’s Windclan. Nearing the end of the book this becomes a bigger problem as more and more cats are killed off one by one (Snowkit, Brindleface Swiftpaw), soon they come to climax and a battle against cat and dog breaks out, a dog is about to kill Fireheart until Bluestar leaps at it throwing it down into the gorge behind them, the dog grabs her hind leg pulling her down with it and Fireheart leaps down refusing to let Bluestar join Starclan and attempts to swim her to safety, MistyFoot and StoneFur (Bluestar and Oakheart’s kits) help too, they bring her to shore, but its too late, she says her last goodbyes and fades away to walk with Starclan .
