"Whistling" sounds are generally vacuum leaks. Start around the EGR valve and/or air intake de-icing assembly.
The whistling sound is the turbochargers at work.. The turbines inside the turbos creates the whistling sound as the exhaust gasses pass by each blade of the hot turbine and the cold turbine blades drive air into the engine.
A defective vacuum line can cause a whistling sound when the vehicle is accelerating. A loose belt can also create a high pitched whistle sound.
The Camry could have a vacuum leak. If there is a vacuum leak, then there can be a whistling sound until the vacuum system is full of air.
The whistling sound coming from near the transmission could be a problem with a speed sensor. It is possible that the speed sensor is attached only at one end. This sensor has two places where it is attached.
vacuum leak
check if you have an aftermarket turbo LOL
Your engine probably has a vacuum leak
sounds like a vacuum leak some where in the system
There It Go (The Whistling Song) by Julez Santana
Not sure what it is, mine is doing the same thing it sounds like. I am getting a whistling noise from the front right of the engine most all the time now, if i rev the engine.
Plugged catalytic converter
Check the fan belt; it may need to be tightened.
