What were William Shakespeare's interests?

His jobs were acting, writing poems and plays. But although we have no reason to think Shakespeare did not enjoy his job, we still wouldn't have called it an interest. He did have an interest in boosting his family status by getting a grant of arms for his father, so he could then call himself "William Shakespeare, Gent."
