Starting at 8:00 AM on October 13, 2007 at TR Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon, Missouri, the St. Louis Browns took on the St. Louis Stars in a baseball game with proceeds going to the Gene Slay's Boys' Club of St. Louis. Gene Slay's Boys' Club. The game was tribute to St. Louis' history in baseball by representing two of the cities' great teams from the past: The 1928 Negro National League Champion St. Louis Stars and the 1944 American League Champion St. Louis Browns. The game ended Monday, October 14, 2007 after 32 hours, 29 minutes and 25 seconds of play. A total of 92 innings were played and the final score was: Browns 119 Stars 81.
