Thoughts are thoughts and we all have them. Everyone has strange thoughts and many have ruminated over death and similar gloomy things in their lives. Thinking of hurting yourself might be a symptom of a deeper trouble, or hurt. One might wish to hurt themselves in order to drown out the pain of something even worse. Some have imbalances in the brain that may cause them to have self-destructive behavior and harmful or even suicidal thoughts. Talking to someone is a good idea, a teacher, counsellor, doctor, help line or parent. The real worry here is that the thoughts become actions, DO NOT HURT YOURSELF. seek help.
