A Mcdonald's crew trainer does exactly what the title suggests and then some. It is right below the management team. Crew trainers are responsible for training all new crew members. They are also given authority over the crew. They make sure that the crew is doing its job the correct way. They receive slightly better pay than crew, and they wear ties instead of hats. It is almost like a lower level management because crew trainers do cash out (counting drawers etc) and ensure that the crew is running smoothly. The managers are there to supervise over everyone. Crew trainers can give instruction, but the manager's rule always prevails over the crew trainers'.
