Rover 20T2N 2.0Ltr Diesel engine Cam cover torques are listed as 12 Nm. No tightening sequence is listed .
hondahookup.com has manuals
A Valve cover dons't have a tightening sequence, you probably mean the head. On my 93 Saturn sl1 the valve cover only had 2 screws with a gasket. To look up what the tightening sequence for the head would be you would have to look in a repair manuel. I could give you what mine is but if its wrong you could risk bending your head sense their not the same cars. Repair manuels you can usually pick up at autozone or checkers auto for a 10-20 bucks. Plus they would be very handy on putting the rest of the car back together if you have your head off.AnswerYes a valve cover does have a tightinig sequence as well as a tourque spec, especially on a 16v motor with a aluminum cover. why do people answer questions when they don't know the answer is beyond me.
Torque for valve cover bolts is 7 to 10 ft. Lbs . Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern .
Tighten the valve cover retaining bolts in sequence, torque them to 71-106 inch lbs. (8-12 Nm).
The correct torque spec is 85 INCH lbs.
What is a primary mount? You have an inner primary, outer primary, inspection cover, and derby cover.
The torque specs are 108-120 in-lbs. But there is a sequence patern they must be tightened with. You need to get a manual.
through the primary chain adjustment cover .. through primary chain adjustment cover located on the primary cover... I refill mine through the derby cover (clutch cover). they even make a special funnel you can buy to make it easy. The derby cover is the big round cover on the rear of the primary. When you attempt this make sure you have a new gasket handy. Be sure not to overfill!
how do you take primary cover off an 86 sportster
how do you stop oil leaking from a 2000 sportster primary cover
Spark plugs do not leak oil. What you have is a valve cover gasket leak. This allows oil to run down on the plugs. Try slightly tightening the valve cover bolts. It that does no help, replace the gasket.Spark plugs do not leak oil. What you have is a valve cover gasket leak. This allows oil to run down on the plugs.
