Kimi ga Yo (君が代) ("Imperial Reign") is the national anthem of Japan.

Japanese version
Kimi gayo WA
Chiyo ni yachiyo ni
Sazareishi no
Iwao to narite
Koke no musumade

English version
May the Emperor's rule last
Till a thousand years, then eight thousand years to come
Till sand, pebbles, and rocks
To be united as a ledge
Till moss grows on it

Hawaii Ponoi is the national anthem of Hawaii. Even though the state flies the U.S. flag and the Star Spangled Banner is played before large events, Hawaii Ponoi is always played following the U.S. national anthem. In the eyes of the population of Hawaii, Hawaii Ponoi is the National Anthem of the Kingdom. The Star Spangled Banner is played out of respect to America.....

Repeated twice, the lyrics are transliterated as:

Kimi ga yo WA / Chiyo ni yachiyo ni / Sazare ishi no /

Iwao to nari te / Koke no musu made.

English translation:

May the reign of the Emperor continue for a thousand, nay, eight thousand generations and for the eternity that it takes for small pebbles to grow into a great rock and become covered with moss
The Japanese national anthem (kokka) is "Kimigayo." The words were taken from a tanka (31-syllable poem) found in the Kokin-wakashu, a 10th-century anthology of poems.

May the reign of the Emperor

continue for a thousand, nay, eight thousand generations

and for the eternity that it takes

for small pebbles to grow into a great rock

and become covered with moss.

Very short, actually. The lyrics are: "Kimi ga yo wa: Chiyo ni,: Yachiyo ni: Sazare ishi no,: Iwao to narite,: Koke no musu made"

BUt when sung correctly, it is more time consuming than it seems. So to answer your question, it is not long at all.
