Chowking is a chain of fast food restaurants based in the Philippines. It was established in 1985 by Robert Kuan and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Jollibee Foods in 2000. In 1995, the first U.S. Chowking store was opened. In 2005, the company began to open stores in Jakarta, Indonesia, and in 2006, the company opened one in the United Arab Emirates.
