The world's largest oil field is in Saudi Arabia and is the Ghwar oil field, which has pumped, although not continuously, 5 mbls in a single day. Although it has to be appreciated that you may be able to pump that much but your customers could probably not handle that much every day.
In the yates oil field at Irran Texas one well produced 204,000 bbls on one day. Ironically the well is only about 1600 ft. deep. The wells in this field, which were drilled in the 20's, encountered the oil pay @ arround 1000 ft. deep. If one well has ever made more than 204,000 bbls. in one day I have never heard of it and I have been in the oil business 40 years.
It appears to be BP's well in the Gulf of Mexico which produces 60,000 barrels of oil per day.
Every country that is not rich in oil, is poor in oil! I would say all countries except the middle eastern countries, Ukraine and USA Any country which is a net importer of oil could be said to be poor in oil
United Kingdom Oil consumption is about 2 million barrels of oil a day.
The Energy Information Administration, a part of the Department of Energy, keeps detailed statistics of production, consumption and imports of oil, as well as other energy streams. I recommend downloading and looking through their Annual Energy Review. Roughly speaking, we import about two thirds (66%) of our petroleum, though that number varies from year to year.
Currently , 7,050,000 people are employed in the oil industry.
Lots of countries have crude oil reserves. Russia, Saudi Arabia, the US, and Iran have the most crude oil reserves.

Yes. Indonesia is the second highest producer of crude oil in Asia - China is #1.
Edwin Drake installed the first producing "oil well" in US. It was located in western Pennsylvania not far from Hershey.
As of now, the highest oil producing country in the world is the United States. Oil was discovered in the United States in 1859 in Pennsylvania, leading to the start of the modern oil industry.
If its producing water then its not a oil well there's water wells oil wells and gas wells Acidizing a well mostly after its been perforated will clean the perforations to allow a better flow of gas water or oil
choke is used to lower the pressure from the well head
The reason that oil shale is not used to produce oil is because this is what keeps the oil well from collapsing after the oil is removed. If the oil shale were mined, the oil well would collapse into a large trench in the ground.
Edwin L. Drake is considered an important figure in the history of the oil industry because he successfully drilled the first commercial oil well in Titusville, Pennsylvania in 1859. This discovery led to the beginning of the modern oil industry, transforming the United States into a major oil-producing nation and revolutionizing the way oil was extracted and used around the world.
In 1866, Lyne T. Barret drilled Texas' first oil producing well. This well was drilled at Melrose in Nacogdoches County.
