A diagram would be easier, but, here goes. You have upper, and lower bolts. The upper would be under the valve covers, and lowers, exposed. Upper, dead center, first. Then next to it, on the right side, then the lower, just to the right of center. Then, then bolt, lower,and just to the left. then upper, one left of center. Then upper, two right of center. Then lower, second right. Then lower, second left. See the pattern here? Go in two steps. Half torque, then full. Then, go over them a couple of times, as some will loosten, as you tighten others. Then this should be repeated after about 1000 miles, unless you spring for no retorqueing head gaskets. And, I always use permatex on the threads of those going into water jackets.
