Vampires do not exist. They are just mythical folklore intended to scare the public. Therefore, vampires do not have a favorite color. If they did exist, then a vampire's favorite color might be red, for blood.

There is no definitive answer to this question as it varies depending on individual preferences. However, some might say that vampires are often associated with the color red due to its connection with blood and passion.

Light sensitivity varies highly in vampires: some not so much, some catastrophically so.

The colours that burns most effectively are in the shorter wave-lenghts as they contain the most energy - but as very little of the high energy light makes it through the Earth's atmosphere there isn't all that much of it available. In answering this question we have to keep three factors in mind:

# The colour/energy of the light. # A total amount of a particular wave-length # The type of vampire. Ultra-violet C - the most energetic light available, causes sun-burns and malinoma in living people so is deadly to all types of vampires. Little is available but what little makes it to the surface always burns.

Ultra-violet B - Still a cause of sunburn but certain photosynthetic processes in the skin require this for fighting certain types of cancer. Is still rare but deadly to all types of vampires

Ultra-violet A - Benefital to Humans. Irritating to the most resistant vampires, deadly to the rest.

Violet - Irritating to most vampires, deadly to the malformed.

Blue - Not irritating to the most resistant vampires, irritating to most, deadly to the most malformed.

Green - Not irritating to most vampires but the abundance of this high-energy colour makes it dangerous to the sensitive.

Yellow - Irritating only to the most sensitive but as this is the most abundant energy level it can be dangerous to them.

Orange, Red and Infra-red - not of a danger to any vampire.

Normally the myth would continue to keep an origin of pale skin no matter the ethnicity of the vampire, a lighter discolouration of the skin will prove the fact that the vampire is still dead. Or undead o-o...
