∙ 8y agoRuby Bridges was the first African American too go too a all white elementary school because she had a extreme intelligence since she was very smart for her age the elementary school was better for her but when she went the whites were trying to kill her so then on the police had to take her to school. The whites took there children out of the school because they didn't want there sons or daughters to go to school with a black .Her family also was affected by this everyone on the block wouldn't talk to them because they had there daughter in a white school the police had to close the streets so they where very mad.
