Sunday = Sunna's Day. Sunna, also known as Sol is a goddess of the sun.

Monday = Mani's Day. Mani is a god of the moon.

Tuesday = Tyr's Day. Tyr is a God of War, as well as law and justice.

Wednesday = Woden's Day. Woden is another name for Odin, a god of war and wisdom.

Thursday = Thor's Day. Thor is a god of thunder and strength.

Friday = Frigg's Day. Frigg is a goddess of prophecy and clairvoyance.

The only outlier is Saturday which is named for Saturn, a Roman god (titan actually).

Tuesday is named after Tyr, the Norse god of war. Wednesday is named after Odin, the Norse god of wisdom. Thursday is named after Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Friday is named after Frigga, the Norse goddess of marriage. Tyr (Tuesday) - Odin/Wotan (Wednesday) - Tor (Thursday) - Frigg/Freya (Friday) Thursday is "Thor's Day" Friday

The day in honor of the Norse goddess Frigg. Friday was named after the Norse goddess who's name was Frigg or Freyja. Wednesday -- "Oden's Day" That would be Thursday which is named after Thor.
