It's actually about two weeks before your period that you ovulate. So depending on your cycle that could be two weeks after or a week or any other amount of time. They do sell ovulation test sticks in most stores now. That will tell you when you are ovulating and when you are the most likely to get pregnant.

You can get pregnant AT ANY TIME before or after your period. Until your body flushes out the old unfertilized egg, it is receptive to just one determined sperm. There is a certain amount of male secretion during sex that contains more than enough sperm to get you pregnant. If you want to be sure you should at least get a home pregnancy kit from the supermarket. You don't have to take it home, you can do it in the supermarket bathroom just as easily.

How many days after your period can you be able to have a baby?

Ovulation occurs at the end of the second week of the Menstruation cycle, which starts as soon as the last period stops, so two weeks after your period stops, a new egg gets released. Sperm can last for about a week in the womb, so you can conceive from about 10 days after the end of the previous period, until about 21 days after.

How many days before your period should you go for a pregnancy test my periods are due on fourth so when should go for test?

There are no days before your period, when you already are pregnant. As soon as you are pregnant your next due period at the 4th will not come. When you are without periods for 2 months, it is very likely that you are pregnant. Many women don't know, that after 10 days after their last period, they are in a period of another 10 days that hey can become pregnant. Mostly it is only 7 days. So that means that 21 days between your period you cannot become pregnant. Short: Period + 10 days free. + 8 days pregnancy possible. + 10 days free. Dr. Phylopi

How do you get pregnant after a period?

Sexual intercourse with no protection or contraceptives. Ovulation occurs about 14 days after the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP), and this is the best time to conceive. However, since many women do not have regular cycles, this time frame can range from 10 to 17 days for ovulation to occur. Don't let this fool you; a woman can become pregnant at any time throughout her cycle, including during her period.
