Vikings wore tunics for the most part. Their helmets did NOT have horns, and the women did NOT have string-skirts.

Viking men wore a long woolen shirt and long cloth trousers. They where held up by sash. Then they wore a jerkin or a three quarter coat and a belt. They also wore socks and soft leather shoes or long leather boot. In battle they would were a helmet and mail chain to protect himself from danger.
