Saturn was known from antiquity. Uranus was discovered in 1781 by William Herschel, who cataloged many interesting objects in our sky. In 1846 Neptune was discovered by Urbain Le Verrier, who predicted its position, and Johann Galle who made the initial observation.
The 4 "inner planets" are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. The solar system consists of two types of planets: terrestrial and jovian (or "gas giants"). The inner four planets, which are all terrestrial, are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars (from closest to furthest).
Well, that's easy to figure out... The Earth is 152,097,701 km from the Sun at their furthest point apart Uranus is 3,004,419,704 km from the Sun at their furthest point apart Therefore, the distance between Earth and Uranus is 2,852,322,003 km when both planets are at their furthest points from the Sun.
When the two planets are at their closest they are 33,926,867 miles apart. When they are furthest apart 249,169,848 miles.
The two most outermost planets in our Solar System are Uranus and Neptune. Pluto is considered a dwarf planet.
NO!!!! In order of nearest to furthest from the Sun the planets are ;- Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn , Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Neptune is the 2nd. furthest from the Sun .
The International Astronomical Union (IAU) recognises eight planets in our solar system (from closest to sun to furthest); Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

An eclipse is when three items in space are in a line. So on earth there is an eclipse when it is furthest away and then is moon and then is sun - so moon is in the middle and is blocking out the sun. If on moon there is eclipse when earth is in front of sun. Or on other planets and their moons, and so on.

Of the inner planets Mars is furthest from the sun.

The four inner planets, in order of closest to furthest from the Sun, are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. These are the four terrestrial planets, composed of mostly rock instead of mostly gas.
Mercury, Venus, and Earth
The three major things that set earth apart from other planets is atmosphere, climate, and weather.
Saturn is the next furthest planet from the Sun after Jupiter. The order of planets is below.Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
