Pretty much losing all real friends, not having a social life because heroin will become your life. I'll make it simple. It's the worst possible decision you could make ,using heroin. You will enevitably get addicted and lose everything slowly and painfully. Heroin affects everyone differently, emotionally. When you are addicted to it and don't have it you can feel depressed, restless, angry and since you don't feel good physically can also be lethargic. When you are on it you feel wonderful, happy and don't think about your problems. When I used Heroin (I snorted), I used to feel very drained and tired and had a lot of problems with phlegm getting caught in my throat while I was sleeping. I would wake up with it all caught in my throat. Emotionally, I always felt the guilt and Horror of what I was doing and felt shame and disgust towards myself. I knew it was wrong and wanted to stop, but it is seriously such an addicting drug because of the physical side of the addiction. It's hard to stop and even want to stop because you feel so normal when you are using it compared to when you are not. Suboxin really is a miracle drug for heroin addicts. It takes all the physical and emotional pain away. That is what helped me stop.
