Ah, XD movies are a special kind of movie experience that offers high-quality sound and visuals to really immerse you in the film. It's like stepping into the world of the movie and feeling all the emotions right there with the characters. It's a wonderful way to enjoy a movie and let your imagination soar.

XD stands for Extreme Digital, Cinemark's answer to IMAX. It has a higher slope than a normal theater, a customized surround sound system made specifically for this type of theatre (which sounds amazing in my opinion), a floor to ceiling wall to wall screen, and it is really just a better experience than in another regular theater.

Another benefit is that, unlike IMAX, XD offers the ability to play any movie in the theater. An IMAX theater can only play specially-formatted movies.
