The Chinese calendar goes by what year you were born, not by the month.
I think rat.
It depends if you are born in January or not. If you were to be born before or on January 28th then you world be the rat but after that it is Ox.
1990 was the Chinese Year of the Horse. Actually, it depends on birthday. Chinese people use Lunar calendar to judge the animal. Before Feb 4th, 1990, it was snake. And after that was Horse. For me, even though I was born in 1991, I was born in horse year. PS: I'm Chinese. If you want to know more about that, I'd like to tell you more. It's really interesting. Today is the New Year. Happy new year!!
The Chinese horoscope is determined by the year you were born in.
Animals that are found on the Chinese zodiac calender include: rats, tigers, rabbits, dragons and many others. Each animal represents a certain trait of characteristics for people born between different months and dates.
The first day of the Chinese New Year is February 4 on our (Gregorian) calendar. So, if you were born before February 4, in 2002, then you were born in the year of the White Snake. If you were born after February 4, then you were born in the year of the Black Horse. See this Chinese Astrology Calendar for more details (below, under Related Links). You are also designated an animal for the month and day you were born, not just the year.
