Put it at "med high" or "high" setting to cook the raw chicken. Then, if you're going to make a stew or similar, set the sign at "low" or "med low" and add your other ingredients.

Why would the blower fan stop blowing air from the vents if the fan speed is not set on high on a 91 town car?

Aircondition works on Ford Taurus when set on high?

What you might be refering to is that the fan only works on high if this is the case your problem would be the blower motor resistor. this resitor is found on the blower motor casing it's about 2 inches long

If you replace the resistor on the blower motor on 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee but still get only high speed or nothing from blower is there another possible cause?

If the fan runs only on high then it is probably the blower motor resistor, and not the blower motor itself. This is pretty standard in any vehicle. It should be located somewhere near the blower motor. --------------------------------------------There are two circuits that power the blower motor. A relay switches between the two different circuits. The high speed circuit suplies battery voltage to the blower. when you set the blower speed switch to any other speed but high the current passes through the other circuit. The blower resistor is in this other circuit. Check the fuse that supplies power to this circuit, check the relay that switches back and forth between the two circuits. Check the switch. Check the wiring. A VOM (volt/ohm meter) is very useful for this type of trouble shooting.

Why does rear air blow but front air does not?

If you set the directional control for the air to flow thru the ac-vents only, you'll probably notice that the fan is set on low or high, and stuck there - regarding the front blower motor. The rear probably works normally. If this is the case, it's probably the heater blower motor RESISTOR that needs to be replaced. If not, then you may need a new front heater blower motor. Hopefully it's not the switch, they're expensive.... Good Luck. When the front blower motor is stuck on low or high, it's ususlly the blower motor resistor.

2004 dodge ram ac and heater problem The heater and ac only work when the setting is set to high If it is set to low or medium the heater and or ac do not work. Can anyone help?

The blower motor speed resistor is burned out. That part should be available at your local auto parts store. I believe the resistor is located under the hood, passenger side on the firewall, close to the blower motor. Two small screws hold it to the HVAC box.

Why would the blower motor on your 2000 Cherokee operate intermittantly and sometimes not at all no matter what the speed is set at?

A loose connection at the motor and/or bad ground at the blower motor. If it is getting current then the motor may have a bad spot/ high amp draw and need to be replaced.

How would you define MED as a default value in a field called client type?

In Access, when creating field, first set it to be a text type. Then in the Properties window there is an option to set a default value. Type MED in there.

Could the blower resistor on my 1989 Dodge Dakota cause the AC not to work?

Possibly. A bad blower motor resistor would cause the blower motor to either not function or function only on one speed (usually high speed). The air conditioning system is probably set up such that if the blower isn't functioning at all, the air conditioner won't function. Otherwise the air conditioner would overheat.

How do you replace Blower motor on 1996 Plymouth Voyager?

Remove the glove box then the four (4) hex screws on the blower motor cover. Then remove the mounting screws for the blower motor and set it down on the floor - it should have enough length in the wiring. Disconnect the the wiring connector them remove the rubber grommet and wiring harness through the blower housing. Installation is the reverse of removal. Good luck!
