Yes it can kill you. Most rust contains strands of streptococcus. When streptococcus enters straight into the bloodstream the virus can eat away the skin on your body. For example, its likely you may wake up with half your face decayed off. IT IS BAD. THROW IT AWAY. Use surgical stainless steel. It doesn't rust.

∙ 11y agoNo, rust is not particularly dangerous to people. Rust is basically corrosive metal that's been eroded by weather. There's nothing dangerous about it unless you get cut by it. If you do, it's not much different than any other cut (to my knowledge that is). As far as I know, rust isn't dangerous unless you're cut by it or allergic to it. And I think it's heavier than than the original metal, but not by much
