Aside from weed being illegal and alcohol being damaging to our body...it's not recommended to drink and smoke at the same time. Both marijuana and alcohol are depressants, meaning they will eventually slow your body's mechanisms down. So one drug enhances the effects of the other. Drink too much, then smoke some weed and you may end up depressing your breathing to a dangerous level.
However, I've known many people that have used both drugs simultaneously and been fine. That said, maybe it's a good idea to look into other hobbies. You liver and lungs will thank you.
