Sea snakes are real and they are one of the most venomous snakes on the planet. Their only saving grace (besides only being found in the sea) is the fact that they have such a small mouth that they can only bite you on the web between your fingers or on the tips.

Sea snakes are venomous elapid snakes that inhabit marine environments for most or all of their lives. Though they evolved from terrestrial ancestors, most are extensively adapted to a fully aquatic life and are unable to even move on land, except for the genus Laticauda, which retain ancestral characteristics which allow limited land movement. They are found in warm coastal waters from the Indian ocean to the Pacific.

Generally, no. The "toxicity" of a snake varies by species, but sea snakes as a group rank in the top tier. They're extremely venemous. Fortunately, most of them are fairly non-aggressive and easy to deal with.

No. Eels or Anguilloformes- are Fish, albeit a very specialized kind. Sea Snakes are serpents, Ophidians, and are reptiles. there are wholly-marine adapted sea snakes, some poisonous, but these are reptiles, they do not have dorsal fins as to some serpentine-appearing fishlike (Sea Monsters) read (In the wake of the sea serpents) by Heuvelmans to get straight on the facts- and fictions about eels, sea snakes and various ( Sea Monster) candidates!they can go in water while only certain species of snakes(such as annaconda snake)can. ther is your answer
