I cannot find an exact figure for acetamide but it should be strongly polar due to its functional groups (amine and C=O). Also, dimethyl acetamide is 6.5 polarity (polar and the extra CH3 groups should make DM acetamide less polar than acetamide).
yes if you test on a TLC you will find that the substans do not follow the front like a unpolar substanse would
I think it is polar. This is because of the the lack of symmetry. I think ...
Polar
Caffeine > Acetaminophen > Ibuprofen > ASA Actually ASA is more polar than Ibuprofen. In ethanol ASA rf value is around .7 and Ibuprofen is around .77. Should be Caffeine > Acetaminophen > ASA > Ibuprofen Rf in ethanol Caffeine < Acetaminophen < ASA < Ibuprofen
Acetaminophen's solubility: 0.1-0.5 g/100 mL at 22 C (Very slightly soluble) Phenacetin's solubility: 0.076 g/100 mL Acetaminophen contains Amide & Alcohol groups, thus makes it really polar whereas Phenacetin contains Ether & Amine that are less polar.
No its not polar
The chemical formula of acetaminophen is C8H9NO2.- carbon: 63,58 %- hydrogen: 5,96 %- nitrogen: 9,27 %- oxygen: 21,19 %
Polar
From most polar to least:Caffeine, Acetaminophen, Aspirin
Caffeine > Acetaminophen > Ibuprofen > ASA Actually ASA is more polar than Ibuprofen. In ethanol ASA rf value is around .7 and Ibuprofen is around .77. Should be Caffeine > Acetaminophen > ASA > Ibuprofen Rf in ethanol Caffeine < Acetaminophen < ASA < Ibuprofen
Acetaminophen will have Rf value of about 0.4 and ibuprofen will have Rf value of about 0.6 if the non polar solvent used is ethanol.

No. Acetaminophen is Tylenol.
Tylenol IS Acetaminophen. Tylenol is just the brand name. Acetaminophen is the drug.
I'm guessing you mean acetaminophen. Acetaminophen is paracetamol.
The only difference between Zydone and Vicodin is the amount of acetaminophen contained in each product. They both contain hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Vicodin 5mg hydrocodone + 500mg acetaminophen Vicodin ES 7.5mg hydrocodone + 750mg acetaminophen Vicodin HP 10mg hydrocodone + 660mg acetaminophen Zydone 5mg hydrocodone + 400mg acetaminophen Zydone 7.5mg hydrocodone + 400mg acetaminophen Zydone 10mg hydrocodone + 400mg acetaminophen
Yes. Tylenol is just the brand name. Ibuprofen is Motrin and Advil. Acetaminophen is Tylenol.
Tamiflu does not contain any acetaminophen. Tamiflu and acetaminophen can be safely administered together to relieve the aches and pain of influenza.
Amoxicillin does not have acetaminophen, as acetaminopheni is a different drug
