I don't have an answer for you. But I grew up in Rhode Island and I knew a Bruce Makowsky who attended the University of Rhode Island. I graduated in 1976 and I believe he graduated in 1978. I am 97% certain that B Makowski of 2009 is the Bruce Makowsky that knew "back in the day" BTW. The Bruce I knew is Jewish which reduces the chances of him have a family relation with a gentile.
