600,000,000. You Probably thought Hitler killed more , but Lenin killed more.
Snowball represents Leon Trotsky, Napoleon represents Stalin. Stalin manipulated the politics to force Trotsky out of power (of the farm) and then used many of Trotsky's ideas.
Leon Trotsky held many beliefs both in political science, economics and in Marxism. Leon Trotsky believed in the basics of Marxism. He believed that only a violent revolution could bring about a communist society in both Czarist Russia and the Russia ruled by a Provisional Government that replaced the czar when the czar had to abdicate. Trotsky understood how difficult it would be in transforming Russia to help its people. He believed that perseverance was necessary. He worked long and hard for the goal of creating a Marxist state in Russia. Trotsky also believed that Josef Stalin had abandoned Marxism and was directing the USSR into a one ruler State. That State would be controlled by Stalin.
There were several reasons. Trostsky was a late convert to Bolshevism and was not trusted by many of the old Bolsheviks. many old Bolsheviks considered Trotsky to be too much of an intellectual for their liking. Many disliked him for being Jewish despite the fact that many Bolsheviks were themselves Jewish. Grigori Zinoviev, himself a Jew, hated Trotsky so much he joined with Stalin and Lev Kamenev (also Jewish) to form a three party ruling block to oust Trotsky from power. Another reason is that Stalin, as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party as well as Commissar of other departments in government held the loyalty of many people he had installed in government and party positions. Trotsky had few allies in power.

Leon Trotsky was one of the great revolutionary thinkers and leaders of the 20th century. His words and ideas were respected and feared as much as any man's and if you google Trotsky you can find a wealth of information about him. I know of many of his essays but not a book. He has many defenders and detractors also. Go to WSWS dot com and search out his name on that site. You'll find many critiques at that place, both for and against Trotsky. So google first, then go to WSWS.

Many people, in all likelihood, but the famous one was Leon Trotsky, leader of the Russian October Rebellion against Josef Stalin. For his trouble, Trotsky was expelled from Russian, and later killed with a blow from a pick-ax to the head on Stalin's orders.
Trotsky used his pen to oppose the rule of Czar Nicholas II.
Leon Trotsky had excellent organizational skills and that was the type of duties Lenin needed from him. He was successful in re-organizing the Red Guard, using a combination of discipline and chain of command responsibility to turn them into one of the most feared armies of the time. Although he was Lenin's right hand man, his personality did not win him many friends. After Lenin died, it was not surprising when Trotsky failed to become his successor.
Two other Bolsheviks were Leon Trotsky and Joseph Stalin, but there were many others, such as Grigory Zinoviev, Lev Kamenev.
Leon Trotsky posed a threat to Joseph Stalin's hold on the power in Russia after Lenin's death. Many Bolshevik leaders supported Trotsky's philosophy of "permanent revolution" while others supported Stalin's policy of "socialism in one country." Stalin allied himself with Grigory Zinoviev and Lev Kamenev against Trotsky and eventually had enough people loyal to him to expel Trotsky from the Communist Party. Trotsky continued to criticize Stalin and tried to line up support against Stalin. Stalin knew the only way to completely eliminate Trotsky as a rival would be to get him out of the country entirely, so Trotsky was exiled to Turkey.Trotsky was exiled because of his opposition to Stalin. The excuse Stalin gave for the exile of Trotsky was that he did not go to Lenins funeral-but Stalin idid not invite him to the funeral.

Although Vladimir Lenin had chosen Trotsky to succeed him, Joseph Stalin kept that from being made public. Stalin was already Secretary General of the Communist Party and had installed many friends in high office who were loyal to him. Stalin also allied himself with Grigory Zinoviev and Lev Kaminev to run the government while Lenin was incapacitated as well as after his death. Stalin thus had virtually all of the important people in the Communist Party on his side and against Trotsky, so he was easily able to get a vote to expel Trotsky from the Communist Party and then exile him from the country.
