under the rear seat there is an access panel, remove panel and 11 screws then the filter is inside the tank. designed not to be replaced as a normal fuel filter.... should last longer than you normal fuel filter. should last 150K based on my resaerch
The Aveo dose not have one. It uses a screen in the gas tank to filter the fuel.
In the tank, there is no serviceable fuel filter. It should last the life of the car. Hyundai did away with most serviceable fuel filters around 2002.
The life of the gas filter is expired when your car suffers from fuel problem-clogged gas filter wont let your start your engine!!!
Filter is in the tank and listed as non serviceable. It should last the life of the pump.
No, it is mounted in the fuel tank and should last the life of the fuel pump. It is replaced when the pump is replaced.
The fuel filter is located in the gas tank. Remove the fuel line. Next, remove the fuel filter retaining plate. Last, remove the fuel filter and replace with a new fuel filter.
The filter is located inside the fuel tank and is a componet of the fuel pump itself (replaced as a unit) It is located underneath the rear seat on the drivers side. Normally the fuel filter should not need to be replaced and last the life of the car.
Your fuel filter should be changed every 50000km. Have it changed at your annual checkup. It doesn't cost much and really increases your fuel economy. (specially on an older car.)
no can do. filter is part of the fuel pump, located inside the fuel tank. 2003 was the last year with an external fuel filter.
Impossible to predict. One thing that can cause the fuel pump to fail prematurely is a partially clogged fuel filter. Change the fuel filter every 50,000 miles if it is replaceable.
I think the 2003 is similar to the 2002 in having the fuel filter in the fuel pump. The filter is designed to last the life of the pump.
