To program your Acura's HomeLink system to a garage door opener without a remote, first ensure the vehicle is parked within range of the garage door opener. Turn on the ignition and press and hold the HomeLink button you wish to program until the indicator light changes from a slow blink to a rapid blink (this may take about 20 seconds). Then, press and hold the garage door opener's "learn" button on the motor unit until the light blinks, and return to the vehicle to press and hold the programmed HomeLink button until the garage door activates. You may need to repeat this process to finalize the programming.
Its the same as honda civics. It a series of turning the ignition key off and on while pushing button on the remote. Im sure you can look that up as it's more common
Pushing the button on your remote....
The new Chevy Volt has a remote starter, as do the newest models of Subaru, Lexus, and Acura cars. It is also possible to have a remote starter installed into the car of your choice, even if it does not come with the factory option.
First guess; the battery is dead. If you replace the battery and that doesn't solve the problem, you may need to have the dealer reprogram the remote for your lock code.
you don't. They are hard coded by the little flex circuit attached to the circuit board inside. The flex circuit has 16 positions (actually labelled 1-16) that can be punched out to create different codes. There is a white label on the back of the remote with a number that represents the punched out positions. The reciever in the car has a matching punch code. There is a way to remove the flex circuit and put it into another working remote. It is also possible to change the code on a working remote to match your remote. Both of these require very delicate soldering operations

In the Acura RSX, the remote wire in the wiring harness is typically the solid blue wire. This wire is used to turn on an external amplifier when the car's audio system is activated. It's essential to verify with a wiring diagram specific to your vehicle model and year, as wire colors can sometimes vary. Always ensure proper connections to avoid electrical issues.
i spoke with my dealership (Continental Acura-Naperville, IL) about this for my 2009 acura mdx. I was told, YES, without any modifications. The issue I ran into was connecting a tow bar to the Acura. The entire front end is plastic with no metal to attach to. I was never successful in connecting a tow bar.
