You can make a magnet three ways:No1. Get a metal rod and wrap some Insulated copper wire around it. You can use some other wires but it might not work as well. Make sure the wire isn't too thick. Wrap the wire 50+ times. Connect the two ends of the wire to a battery. Don't connect it to a strong power source as it will get very hot. I connected mine to a 1.5 volt battery and it could lift up my scissors then drop them again.(Note: The iron rod now has become a weak permanent magnet. The more current you add to it the more stronger it will be and the longer you have the battery on the stronger it will be.. Also, don't drop it as it will lose it's magnetic properties.)No2. Get a magnet. The stronger the better. Rub one end only of the magnet up a piece of metal then when you get to the end take the magnet off the metal and take it back to the start making sure the magnet doesn't touch the metal. I don't really like this method as it takes a long time to get the metal to pick up anything decent.No3. Get a magnet and let it stick to a piece of metal. The piece of metal will be weak but enough to make the needle on a compass move.
Make sure you don't swallow another magnet whatever you do. Contact your doctor.
Metals not magnetic, but permeable will become magnets when near or touching a permanent magnet. You can stroke some metals in the same direction repeatedly on a magnet and make it a magnet.
a magnet will pick up another magnet. magnet will stick to iron. Fun Activity: if you have more than one magnet you can play a trick to your friends. you just need one magnet under a iron desk and put another magnet over on top of the desk. once you did that make sure that your friends doesnt see your hand under the desk and touching the magnet. slowly move the magnet under the desk so that it doesnt make lots of noise. then once you move the magnet under the desk the other magnet that is on top of it on the desk will move.
yes it can.
No it wont but if the water is hot then it will lose its magnetism
by stroking a magnet the right way you will make the magnet very happy, this will cause it to magnetise better, much like stroking a cat or dog. a happy magnet is a strong magnet
Aluminum is not magnet meatal and cannot be a magnet.
yes
put a stick with a magnet
by stroking it with another magnet :D
by hammering a metal at the magnet xD
To get a magnet.Magnets are available in nature. You can make a magnet by tying a piece of iron to a strong magnet for some time. You can also get a magnet by making an Electo-magnet or solenoid.
Because anything that has iron is attracted to magnet so whether its not fully an iron as long as it has iron in it, it can make the magnet move or attract it
To Make An Electo-Magnet you need to saughter 2 wires , A Battery And a switch to ther magnet , i dont really know i saw it on youtube...

By striking the side of the end of a steel rod with a hammer you will make a weak magnet.
yes or no it depends how big the magnet is
