How do you replace the front shocks on a 1999 Saab 9.3 convertible?

Put front of car on stands or on lift. Remove wheels. Remove three or four (depending on model) strut/damper mount tower nuts (under hood). Remove strut/damper to spindle bolts. Remove damper/spring assembly and replace with new. You may replace it as a complete assembly or damper only. If you plan on replacing the damper only, you'll be required to remove spring from old damper and transplant it on to the new Cheers

How do you replace front and rear struts on a 95 Honda civic coupe?

-Front-1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly.3. Remove the brake hose clamps from the damper and the damper pinch bolt.4. Remove the damper fork bolts and remove the damper fork.5. Remove the two upper flange nuts and remove the strut assembly. To install:6. Loosely install the damper assembly into the damper fork with the aligning tab facing inside.7. Install the damper fork on the halfshaft and lower arm. Install the damper in its fork and align the tab with the damper fork slot. Hand-tighten the nuts and bolts. The mount base nuts should be tightened once the damper is under vehicle load.8. Tighten the self-locking damper pinch bolt to 32 ft. lbs. (44 Nm).9. Tighten a new self-locking damper fork nut to 47 ft. lbs. (65 Nm) while holding the damper fork bolt.10. Install the brake hose clamps with the two bolts.11. Install the two upper flange nuts for the damper assembly to secure it to the frame but do not fully tighten them.12. Lower the vehicle and tighten the flange nuts to the strut under vehicle load. Tighten to 36 ft. lbs. (50 Nm).-Rear-1. Support the rear of the vehicle securely and remove the rear wheels. Support the rear axle housing securely with a floor jack.2. Remove the damper access covers from inside. Remove the cap and unscrew the two nuts on each side.3. If you are removing the shock absorbers only, lower the axle just enough for the rod to clear the body. Otherwise, lower the axle until the shock absorbers and spring parts are all free. Remove the springs, upper and lower seats (if necessary), then unbolt the shock absorbers at the axle and remove them.4. If springs have been removed, install the upper spring seats into the body. Place the lower spring seats on the axle and position the springs on the seats. To install:5. Install the shock absorbers upright in the axle housing and bolt them loosely at the bottom. Then, gradually raise the axle with a floor jack until the piston rods of the shock absorbers can be guided through the holes in the vehicle body. As you do this, also check that the springs are in the proper positions.6. When the piston rods are well through the body holes, install the two locknuts on either side. Using an Allen® wrench to hold the nuts, and tighten the lower nuts to 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm) and the upper to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm). Install the cap and access cover. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle to the floor. Tighten the lower shock absorber mounting bolts to 60 ft. lbs. (83 Nm).

How do you change a crankshaft sensor on a 1987 olds delta 88?

You have to remove the Vibration Damper first, then you will have clear access to the Crank sensor. Make sure when you reinstall it, the wires don't get caught in the Damper assembly and you have clearance where the sensor mounts. Easy fix.

AKA, crank pulley damper, crankshaft damper, torsional damper, or vibration damper.
