You'll need a VCR that already has a tuner (pref digital tuner in case your without cable) The VCR can select a channel and give an output on its RCA connectors, you can record using the VCR as a tuner. Pete
you purchase a modulator from best buy or future shop
If the T.V. has RCA inputs then you should just be able to hook the red and yellow wires into the TV from the DVD player. It should play
You cant it is impossable to put a broken DVD player to a tv if it doesnt work buy a new one!
The only way to hook it up is to have a video card that has a coax input port. You will also have to have a converter to connect the 360 Cable and the coax cable too.
Any reputable combo player will be able to hook up to an HD TV.
get a VCR player and hook up it by the back inputs
A VCR DVD combo player is typically hooked to a TV using RCA connectors. They are color coded and connected to the same ports on each device.
You can use RCA cables or coax. You will see on the back of your Dish receiver a TV out for either coax or the RCA cables out, then plug the cable into the input of your TV. Be sure to tune your TV to whatever input you choose to view dish satellite programming.
Connect a coaxial cable to the "out to TV" input on the back of your DVR, and then hook up the other end to your TV's "RF In" input. For slightly better picture quality, you can connect composite or S-Video cables from the back of your DVR to the DVD VCR Combo. Newer models have two audio and video connections. Hope this helps and good luck!
I am assuming you have a new HD duo receiver (222k, 622, 722, 722k) or 612 solo receiver that doesn't have a coax connector for TV 1. You need to do 1 of 2 things to enable you to connect the old TV to your receiver. If your TV has an RCA port (yellow, white, and red cable) on the back, you can use that cable instead of the coax from the TV to the receiver. If your TV doesn't have the RCA ports, you need to get an RF modulator to convert the signal from the receiver from RCA to coax.
I have a AV surround sound VR-206 and I want to hook up my digital cable receiver and my DVD player but I want to be able to watch tv programs without using the amp
i have a direct tv samsung dvr 2 channel, i want to hook it up to my basic cable. i dont have a cable box just a coax cord. all i want to do is record my programs. please help will
to reset it you need to turn it so that the hook is facing the opposite of the direction it faces when you lock it then put in the combo you wish to use. it should pull straight up and keep your combo in until you have it in the locking position. once in locking position, mess up the numbers so that it doesnt have your combo in it. redo the combo you chose to see if it worked. make sure you are putting the combo in where the line is.
Yes all new TV's can handle these two services but the trend of the future may lead away from coax cable. You may need to hook up cable tv using s-video or optical cables.
