With an SD card (included with the system), you are able to save pictures and upload them to a computer by removing the SD Card from it's slot (after powering down your 3DS of course) and inserting it into your computer's SD card slot.

You can also upload files to online photo websites through the 3DS internet browser, allowing for an easy download from your account on said website (Photobucket (doesn't work), Imgshare).

An even better solution is Dropbox, whose "basic upload" option is compatible with the 3DS browser, and will allow you to not only upload your photo to your Dropbox account, but also save it to the installed Dropbox folder on your computer.

I just tried the dropbox solution and it doesn't work because you can never GET to the basic uploader. I wanted to upload some pictures without removing my SD card and having to stop playing the game I was playing entirely via the internet feature which can be run while a game is suspended. Unfortunately, dropbox's page is coded such that the "upload" button never loads on the 3DS browser and, consequently, you cannot get to the uploader at all to click the basic uploader link. I was unable to find a direct link to the basic uploader at all. Does anyone have a better browser-based solution that will work with the 3DS' limited browser capabilities?

Yes you can. All you need is an SD card that fits into the dsi and then one of those USB sticks that have a card slot at the back. You stick the card in the back of the USB and the put the USB into your laptop/computer.

These USB's are specifically made for the SD cards (of any sizes). Ask someone from one of your tech stores about it.

Hope this helps !!

No you cannot. You will need an SD card for it. The only way to get the pictures you want from your DSI to your computer is to upload the picture to FaceBook and download the picture from your computer and there you will have it. But besides that there is no possible way.

The DSi cannot display pictures transferred from a computer via SD card. This has been tried by numerous people with no success.

The only way you can view an image not taken by the DSi itself is if you upload it and then view it through the DSi browser.

When you take pictures with the Nintendo DSi, it should automatically save the pictures onto the SD card. Therefore, all you need to do is to plug the SD card into a SD port and copy the pictures onto your computer.
