∙ 15y agoAccording to what i read/heard, the seeds of Celine Dion,s musical career were planted when she was a little girl. Apparently, her parents owned a nightclub, or some such entertainment establishment, where the young Celine would sing for the patrons. Recognizing that Celine had musical talent, her mother sent a demo tape of Celine Dion singing to Quebec based manager Rene Angelil when Celine Dion was 10 or 11 years old. Apparently, Angelil was so impress with Dion,s voice, that he signed her to a management contract. Celine Dion released her debut LP in 1980 at the age of 12( She was born on March 30, 1968). It was rumoured that Celine Dion & her manager became romantically involved when she was only 15 years old (which both have denied). A lawsuit was allegedly launched by Dion & her manager( who had since became her husband), against the tabloid publication that had allegedly published this story. Celine Dion & her manager/husband have a son Rene Charles, & are planning to have another child in the future.

Celine had to undergo a major physical transformation before becoming famous about 18 months later. Celine capurtured the hearts of many in her home country of Canada and continues to win the hearts of many around the world. Canadians rule!
