What you are likely referring to is flatulence. It is a sound that in general, in most cultures, is considered undesirable in public places. That sound is often, but not always, associated with an unpleasant odor. As long as you are in good health, this natural function of the body should be at a minimum, perhaps a dozen times a day and with only a slight odor. or more than that it may be that resembles a rotten egg. If it is more than that at it is causing you concern, then you may consult your doctor or a nutritionist, because the cause and/or the treatment for it is very likely to be dietary. The biggest contributor to this problem is indigestible fibrous parts of some vegetables. An easy and safe approach is to buy over-the-counter enzyme pills and/or tablets from a pharmacy, just ask the pharmacist for suggestions. The other thing to do is add probiotic foods, such as yogurt, kefir, fresh sauerkraut, or kimchee to your diet. These 'live' foods have microorganisms that help breakdown many of the hard to digest complex carbohydrates associated with gas producing foods. If it is from legumes, or beans, then do what some cultures that consume a large proportion of these in their diet; soak the dry beans in a bath of water and baking soda for a few hours. This alkaline solution helps start the breakdown on the outer shell or husk so it cooks better. Soak them until you start to see a little color bleed off the beans and their skins feel slippery. Other than that, do what Ben Franklin suggested; "Fart for freedom, fart for liberty-and fart proudly."
