You can shave it, but you need to be very careful. The area is very sensitive and there is a major artery which subdivides into three smaller arteries. A cut to the pubic area will be fine but a cut to the penis or testicles can be painful and cause discomfort.

You'll probably be safer using a hand-held battery razor rather than a manual razor or a razor plugged into an electricity mains.

There are also other methods you could try such as laser hair removal. However laser removal is permanent, so you need to be 100% certain.

There are probably chemical products, but you should avoid using these on such a sensitive area.
