Crane is one of the best products on the market. There stuff lasts forever! They used to make all different colours of tubs etc. i don't know if they still do because the one in Stratford Ont was moved out of the city

Why are toilets called toilets?
Comes from French for a cleaning cloth. Why it was used to describe the modern toilet is anyone's guess. Somebody decided to use it in that way and the name stuck. Why is anything called what it is? Somebody decided that was a good name and nobody changed it.

Why would an American Standard Cadet Series toilet drain it's water from the bowl?
I have heard that sometimes certain toilets under certain conditions can cause siphoning of water from the bowl of other toilets. Of course, that would require you to have two toilets on premises. If so, check the Cadet water level before and after flushing the non-Cadet toilet. Good Luck

My toilet is a crane plumbing and will not flush everything down.is crane a good brand?
I have the very same problem with my Crane Plumbing toilet. Not every thing gets flushed down and can take 1 to 5 flushes to empty. Crane is the cheap brand that builders use. The one in your home is most likely (like mine) the $80 builders line. I found this out when I paid a visit to Home Depot. The resident toilet expert there told me all about toilets. It could also be a blockage or build up in the plumbing.
