∙ 13y agoEos was the rosy-fingered goddess of the dawn. She and her siblings Helios (the Sun) and Selene (the Moon) were numbered amongst the second-generation Titan gods.
Astraeus was the Titan god of the stars and planets, and the art of Astrology. By Eos (the Dawn) he was the father of the seasonal Winds and the Stars. The arrival of these Winds was heralded by the rising of certain constellations. He also had a daughter named Astraia, the goddess of the constellation Virgo.
