Why do front load washing machines look smaller capacity wise than a same size top load washer?

Because you don't need room for as much water in the tub. Front loaders tumble a smaller amount of water through the clothes as opposed to top loaders that submerge the clothes in water and swish them.

What is Recommended amount of soap in front load washer?

You need to use a laundry detergent specifically for front loading washers, otherwise you will end up with a suds overflow. If you only have regular detergent, then start out with only about 2 or 3 tablespoons, then adjust with each load as needed. But I strongly recommend using one made for a front loader, which will tell you on the container how much to use, depending on the brand, the size of the load, etc.

The size of the engine is not mentioned, but most Mercury outboard models situate the drain plug on the lower half of the port side cowling. Where are the oil drain plugs on a 2006 triumph Bonneville?

There is ONE oil drain plug on the 2006 Bonneville and it is located directly in the center of the bike on the crank case facing the front of the bike. If you look under the bike from the side, locate the oil filter and just move forward from there. Keep in mind that there is also an aluminum crush washer inbetween the plug and the crank case. Always use a new washer when changing the oil on this bike. The size of the washer escapes me right now. Also not that the oil on the bonnie also cools the clutch. This is not a dual oiler like a Harley.
