Yeah it hurts just a little bit, but it is a pain you soon forget about.
Tetanus (or d-tap) shot combines diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) The tetanus shot hurts, but only for a second.
1) Ask for numbing cream at the beginning of the appointment
2) Do NOT look at the needle!
3) Keep calm and don't think about it!
4) Look away, think about stuff that you want to do when you get home.
Yes. My arm hurt for a week when I got it. It might not hurt to you. It sometimes depends on the person.
in your arm dosent hurt
Everyone has a different pain tolerance so everyone would have different opinions on how bad an injection is. Both injections are into the muscle so the pain should about the same. After you get the injection I'd recommend doing some arm exercises and mildly rubbing the area.
yes
Yes, you can have a allergic reaction to any shot. All the shot is is a little bit of the virus:)
1.) Get a Tetnus shot 2.) If you stepped on it, get your leg amputated
I'm more familiar with dog tags worn during WW2. On those the T43 would mean the soldier had a tetnus shot in the year 1943. So, T57 means he had his shot in 1957. The dog tag contained some medical information such as blood type and date of tetnus shot.
No, not at all. A tetanus shot is not as bad as everyone says it is, it feels just like a regular shot only a little more pinch feeling after. If i say so myself the menengitis shot hurts the worst. ::))
Try to remove it if you can. I would also go get a tetnus shot if you haven't had one in over 10 years.
A tetnus shot is good for 10 years unless there is an exposure in which you will most likely get one in between 5 and 10 years
For me, they did not hurt.
Tetanus is the medical term for the viral infection people call lockjaw. It is the same one that you get a tetanus shot to help prevent.
The health department should give free or low cost tetnus, or try the county hospital
