It had a masonic influence from the beginning. The guys who founded it in Virginia were or became Freemasons soon thereafter.

I used the quote "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" from Kennedy's speech. Then I talked about how history had always bored me until I heard the ffa motto and then related that to Kennedy's speech. Then I went on to say that if elected I would continue the legacy "as we the FFA, make history"
There is no FFA "oath". There is an FFA Creed, an FFA motto, and an FFA Salute, but no oath.
