By his own hand likely very few. Napoleon would sometimes attempt to inspire troops by leading from the front, but this was near the beginning of his career. In his battles, hundreds of thousands. In the Napoleonic wars, millions.

He is estimated to have been responsible for as many as 2.5 million lives being lost.

Certainly by proxy, but his sword was rarely bloodied. To be specific, he did directly order his troops to kill thousands right in front of him (an example being the riots of 13 Vendémiaire, where he ordered his men to open cannon fire on a mob of French rebels.) He didn't have to go out and kill people with his bare hands, but he is definately a veteran of close quarter violence due to his actions in his early-mid military career.

Did Napoleon bonaparte kill the Jews?

No. By and large, Napoleon reacted positively towards Jews and dedicated a sizable part of his domestic policy towards the Emancipation of the Jews (i.e. making them legally equal citizens to Christians). He actually spent so much effort towards emancipation that some Rabbis were afraid that he would lead to Jews leaving Judaism since the discrimination had the effect providing useful external pressure that kept the community together.

Why do humans kill animals?

I personally don't kill animals but some reasons people kill them are for food, or clothes and some do it just for fun.Mostly for food and usually for science experiments. We kill too much and that is why animals are extinct!
