Does it really matter if you unleaded vs super unleaded gas?

Unless your owners manual says that you must use super unleaded gas, you should just use regular unleaded. Otherwise you are just wasting your money and possibly harming your engine. super unleaded petrol has a higher octain rate than unleaded. check your owners manual for the optimal rate you should be using for the engine.

Is unleaded fuel good for a cadillac 472 engine?

It is not good for the engine if it is the original setup from the 1970's. Lead is needed for lubrication to the valves. A reconditioned engine can use unleaded fuel if the intake and exhaust valves and the seats are replaced.

Can unleaded gas be used in a 1966 Ford Mustang?

You can use unleaded in a low compression engine such as the in-line 6 and the 260. But use a high octane unleaded instead of regular unleaded. If however you have the 289, I am not sure on this engine. The 289 HO will require the use of a VSRP additive at each fill up. If your 289 has hardened valve seats and does not require a VSRP additive, you can simply switch to Shell V-Power (98 octane) or Shell Unleaded (95 octane) straight away. If you find that your Mustang tends to run hot then you will need to readjust the fuel/air mixture on the carburetor for the modern unleaded fuel. You can use unleaded in a low compression engine such as the in-line 6 and the 260. Can regular unleaded fuel be used in a 2006 Yamaha YZF-600R without harming the engine?

Yes you can use regular unleaded fuel and it will not harm the engine. Although by using low grade fuel, you will not get the max performance from your bike. I have a 2002 YZF 600R and use nothing but premium in it now. I use to use regular unleaded and I found that I would change my plugs at least once a riding season. it builds up alot of carbon. But yes the owners manual says that you can use regular unleaded.

Can I used unleaded fuel in a diesel van?

If the van has a diesel engine, then you MUST use diesel fuel. Unleaded gasoline will destroy a diesel engine. Diesel fuel is also used as a lubricant in a diesel engine. The use of any other fuel except diesel will result in serious damage. If you have put unleaded in your diesel, do not start or drive this vehicle until you drain the tank and change all the fuel filters. If the van has a diesel engine, then you MUST use diesel fuel.
