A door can be switched from power to manual by replacing the internal workings and drilling a hole for the manual knob. This requires extensive modifications and is not the best solution for most people.

What is wrong if the dome light stays on?

You possibly have a shorted or broken switch on one of your doors. These work by earthing out when a door is openedThe manual dome light switch is on.More than likely it is the door switch. The switch is located in the door latch and the door panel must be removed to service.

Problem with remote only controlling the drivers door. The manual button on the passanger door only controls the drivers door. 2001 Honda accord. new system the old one did it also?

It sound's like either the servo in the passengers door is bad or one of the manual switches are bad. If the drivers side manual switch will work for the passengers door then it's a switch (could be problem with the switch on either side since most are interconnected). If nothing will make that door work then it's the servo in that door.

Why does a 1993 Nissan short bed keep light on after shut off?

If you are referring to the can light, there is a manual switch on the light that allows it to operate when the doors is closed or to automatically turn on when the door is open and then shut off when the door is closed. If the switch is in this position and the light is staying on, the switch in the door to tell it to turn off is probably not working.
