Every pain you feel in your relationship leaves a stain and it stays there for a long time. Even if your partner apologizes and you forgive, it leaves a mark that we think isn't there but it actually does exist within you.
You would say that it doesn't feel like before because in every instance of hardships and pain, you learn and grow and soon enough realizes everything you've been through.
