heres to add to the above.. (my question) I last got my period on April 9th of 09... When I missed it in may I took a home preg test from Walgreen's... came up negative. So I waited. Then when I came to about June 10th I had very light red blood.. period like.. but it was so light of bleeding that it never got heavy enough to go through to a pad. It lasted about 2 days.. there was also some brown color to it. I figured it was because I was so late for my period. I took another test about June 20th... still negative. I missed again in July.. and again a negative test. It is now august.. I've been having frequent urination, backs killing me, abdominal pain, nausea off and on. I go from being super hungry to not wanting to eat at all. Im soooo much more tired ALL of the time! my boobs are a little tender just starting yesterday.. I even got a freaken hemroid! (heard they can be due to pregnancy too) I don't have any insurance right now... is it just the fact that I've had irregular periods in the past? But I've never missed nearly 4 in a row! The most was 2 in a row without being pregnant! Help! lol any sure fire way to tell if I am without a blood test?
thanks!
yes, you can actually have a normal period every month during your pregnancy
if spotting can you still be pregnant?
I'm pretty sure they can, being it is possible (uncommon) but possible to have a regular normal period the whole 9 months you are pregnant. Most people say that you most definitely can not have a period if you are pregnant but that is a myth. I know several people who were pregnant but yet still got there period every month they were pregnant and it was very normal, not just spotting. So i would assume that yes it is possible to have your "last" period and still be pregnant.I'm pretty sure they can, being it is possible (uncommon) but possible to have a regular normal period the whole 9 months you are pregnant. Yes it is possible. Some women have that happen. If you haven't seen a doctor I would suggest you go as soon as possible.

Yes, you can still get pregnant when you have a UTI.
