Yes, you can take the pill and not be sexually active. Many people do this for medical reasons, such as painful or irregular periods.

You just became sexually active and your period is late this month but your periods are irregular anyway are you pregnant?

If your periods are irregular anyway then there is no way to tell, I advise you to see whether you have a period next month, if not then go and see a doctor for a pregnancy test. If you have only recently become sexually active then you should be using protection anyway.

My last shot was in February for birth control my period came on the last days of June I had no period the whole month of July and then my period came on August the 16th what does that mean?

Irregular periods are often perfectly normal, but not always. If you have not been using another form of birth control, and you have been sexually active, it is wise to have a pregnancy test. Spotting similar to a period can happen in pregnancy. Did you have regular periods before going on the shot? If so, your period will usually normalize after a while. See a physician to be certain of the cause of your irregular periods.

What is better to take the pill shot or the patch for to stop your make your periods regular?

Neither the shot or the pill would regulate your periods.Menstruation only occurs regularly when you ovulate regularly - hormonal birth control prevents ovulation, thus prevents menstruation. On the pill a person may experience a regular withdrawal bleed due to the drop in synthetic hormones when going from active to inactive pills but this is not the same as a regular period. On the shot a person may experience no bleeding at all or continual bleeding, irregular bleeds are very common on the shot. With both options after discontinuation irregular cycles can be common, especially when you come off the shot periods can be very irregular.

Periods are often irregular at your age. If you are not sexually active in any way, don't worry unless you have abdominal discomfort worse than mild cramps.

If you are young or you are very active, you may have very irregular periods. But it would be best to discuss this with a doctor who knows your health history.

In what order do you take birth control pills and which color do you take first?

Hello - You start taking birth control pills on the last day of your period. You will have seven pills which are a different colour from the other pills. The seven different coloured pills are the "non- active or sugar pills" which you start taking after you have finished taking the active pills. The active pills are the 28+ different coloured pills from the non active ones.
