Can you use an airbrush without an aircompresor?

We use our airbrushes at airbrush tattoo events with a standard Co2 tank. It is just compressed air and doesn't require a compressor or a power source.

How do you drain AC oil?

To drain the compressor you have to remove the compressor from where it is mounted and physically drain the oil from it. From the lines, condenser and evaporator you have to isolate each item and use a flush kit available at your local auto parts store. It is nearly impossible to completely remove all the oil and trash from the evaporator and the condenser.

Can you use Latex in an AirBrush?

No, you cannot. Latex is too thick to flow freely through airbrush and will cause sputtering. You need an airless sprayer for latex paint.

Can you use a copic airbrush on your skin?

You can but it probably won't last very long. There are body art products out there that can give you an air brushed look.

What is a good airbrush to use?

That will depend a lot on what you intend to do with your air brush. If you will be working on cars (trucks, vans, etc.), walls (murals), and other large surfaces you will need a different sort of airbrush than you will if you are doing fingernails, temporary tattoos, of fine arts pieces. Most of the airbrush artists I know have three or four units they work with. If at all possible find someone locally that works with airbrushes and talk with them, most will be more than happy to talk to you about the good points as well as the problems of the various styles, models and brands available to you. There are also a number of magazines dedicated to airbrush art and the tools of the trade. Do be advised, advertizements as well as analytical piece show up in the pages so read things as they are presented. On the plus side, the magazines usually feature the newest innovations in the trade as well as great tutorials on how to maintain and use the tools.

Can a person do airbrush tattoo themselves?

Doing airbrush tattoos on yourself is the best way to practice. It limits the places on the body that are able to have an airbrush tattoo, but it can still work. It is a little harder with the airbrush but here at TribalInk Products we sell small kit-in-a-bag kits that enable anyone to just use a sponge to put the cosmetic airbrush tattoo paint right through the adhesive airbrush tattoo stencil.

How pour oil in rotary ac compressor?

You do not pour oil into an ac compressor, It goes in just like the "freon",,,under pressure. You can but an oil charge kit from any good auto parts store but only use it if you absolutely know it needs oil. Too much will ruin the compressor and clog the separator.

Is luminess airbrush makeup as good as they say and does it cover good without settling into lines does it really give the coverage and a flawless finish they say tv models use this?

Did you ever spray paint anything? Notice how the paint flowed into every crack and crease? Airbrush makeup is sprayed on, so it does the same thing. Advantages: yes, you get a very nice finish. That's why airbrush makeup is the standard for HDTV. Disadvantages: the product is REALLY expensive--a lot of pro artists take regular foundation makeup and dilute it with water to a sprayable viscosity and use that. It's not waterproof, so you'll sweat it off faster. And you need more than Luminess says you do because it's laid down in very thin coats. Plus, the equipment is hella expensive. I don't know about y'all, but a compressor costs a hundred bucks and a good airbrush about $130, and you can get the most exquisite regular brush set on the market for less than that. Add the maintenance requirements of an airbrush--if you don't clean it right you WILL clog it, and unclogging an airbrush is no fun--and the noise of a compressor. Basically, if you're making up a lot of people airbrush is great (and if you're making up a HUGE amount of people, like a choir, it's possible to use a regular spray gun and do everyone's foundation in a minute apiece) but if it's just for you, I don't think the economics come out. Disadvantage of Luminess specifically: the equipment is not high quality but they charge an arm and a leg for it. Go to Harbor Freight and buy their under-$100 airbrush compressor, add a $100 Badger airbrush, and you've got a better system for less money.
