No. The Moon has gravity, about 1/6 as much as the Earth does. This means that things weigh less and fall more slowly than on Earth. If they didn't have to wear space suits, they could jump higher and run faster than on Earth. One astronaut tried to see how high he could jump in his bulky spacesuit. He went up about 4 feet, lost his balance, and fell backwards onto his backpack. Since the backpack was what was keeping him alive, this was a bad idea. Fortunately it kept working.
